Focus Areas
Serious Illness Care
Facing a serious illness often brings confusion and worry, especially when many decisions need to be made at once. After a major diagnosis, people can feel buried under appointments and new information. I work closely with families to clarify their goals of care, helping them feel supported and informed as they navigate through the health care system. I share education and resources on medical care, community services, advance care planning, hospice care, and other helpful topics.
Caregiver Support
More than 4 million New Yorkers care for someone with a complex medical condition or disability. This responsibility often brings emotional strain, loneliness, and financial pressure, as many caregivers put their own needs aside. My aim is to help caregivers find connection within their community, learn practical skills, and feel supported during the rough moments. We will also make sure you have a balanced and accessible self-care routine so care giving can feel more sustainable.
Dementia Support
Almost 7 million people in the United States are living with dementia, and New York has one of the highest numbers. Dementia can make everyday life challenging, often requiring added support and understanding. It may also bring changes in behavior that are tough for both the person living with dementia and those who care for them. I help individuals living with dementia stay engaged and able to share their thoughts for as long as possible. I also assist caregivers by offering guidance, planning for support, and tools that make daily challenges easier to manage.
